Police investigating fire and bullet damaged house

Police have launched an investigation into a house fire and bullet damage in a neighbouring house in New Plymouth.

They were called out at 3.45am this morning with reports of a house fire at a Devon St. West property, and bullet damage in a different house.

Three houses on Devon St. West were cordoned off while the police investigated.

A police spokeswoman told RNZ that there were no reported injuries, and that the police is making further inquiries.
